Chapter Eight

Cameron

I underestimated the love I could have for this woman. I have been going out of my mind for the last two weeks trying to find a way to get my little Spitfire to come around. I want to tie her to me in every way. I keep picturing her round with my child. We have been talking for an hour, but it only felt like minutes.

"Walk me outside?” I ask.

Charlee took AJ home twenty minutes ago, and Anthony left right after.

“Okay.”

When we get outside, and to my truck, she looks at it then back at me.

“Why do you guys have to always have big ass trucks? How the hell am I supposed to get up there?”

“I will just pick you up baby. You know I love it when your body is flat against me.” I give her a grin, and she just growls. I walk close to her until we are almost touching. She has to tilt her head back so she can look at me.

“When do you get off work Sweetness?” Her cheeks turn the pretty pink color that I love so much, and she licks her bottom lip.

“Uh… well, technically I wasn't supposed to work today.”

“Can I take you out on a date?”

“Yes.”

“Great I will pick you up at seven. Give me your address and phone number.”

“I can just meet you there.”

“Nope. I'm not giving you the chance to back out.” I say as I sneak my arm around her pulling her close until her body is flat against me. Her hands automatically go to my chest, and she melts into me.

“Oh…” She gasps out. Leaning down I kiss her sweet lips. When she opens for me, I can taste the vanilla that seems to follow her around. I imagine it always will. Moaning, she grabs my shirt in her little fists and tries to pull me even closer. Groaning, I reluctantly end our kiss with a nip on her bottom lip and pull back.

“I’ll pick you up at seven Sweetness we are going to Shamrocks for a drink and some dancing.”

“Okay, Loverboy.” She smiles like she has a secret and pulls me down for a kiss. My Sweetness gives me her address before walking back to the shop.

I hate watching her leave, but I love seeing that sweet ass of hers sway as she walks. I hop into my truck and head back to back to my place. The day goes by faster than I thought it would before I know it.
